a d16z6 is a sohc vtec.
why do you want to swap heads?
what model civic do you have?

ya get a z6, make sure u take out the oil jet if u have one. get some arp studs, new timing belt. then get a obd1 ecu, and wiring harness, then switch do dpfi if u havent already. good luck let me kno if u need any more help.

so i should run dpfi not mpfi?
could i just pull the ecu from a sol? or is that obd2?

i think he ment that if u r dpfi to switch to mpfi. u have to to run that head. but if ur name is right then all u would have to do is wire vtec and a couple other wires for that and call it a day. pm ILIKETODRIVE

It's not worth it unless you can find a COMPLETE Z6 head for around $100 AND if you convert to OBD-1 and run a P28 ECU.

You're compression would be about 10:1 so a stock P28 ECU would be fine.
