ok if you hve a b18c gsr n add type r internals does it become faster
than a type r at some point, or would it be da equivalnt of a type r

it would be thae same as taking an R and putting a GSR head on it! R and GSR use the same block, same stroke and bore. the only differenc internally is the pistons. now for the head an R uses a B16 head that comes factory with a mild PnP job and better valve train. so if you take you GSR and put R internals, a PnP B16 head with R cams and valve train. then you would have a poor mans R and depending on you PnP job and if your block has ever been dcked or your head has ever been milled. it might be faster than an R.
