for one are you sure your putting the right size fuse in it? and two you might have a shrt some where.

he does have a short somewhere :p connect a test light in the fuse port, activate the switch for whatever is malfunctioning, and start disconnecting connectors one by one. Once the test light goes out youve narrowed it down to a short to ground in between 2 connectors.

prob using a test light is not a good idea you could melt the wires... use a popper fuse(not the right name sorry it poss when i gets to hot than when it cools down will work again) brain fart. that way you dont do any further damage.... and dont start un plugging things way to hard..start pulling out fuses in you cab one by one putting the old one back befor pulling a new fuse.hope this helps

yeah you use the big spot light style test light which provides the load for the circuit. How is unplugging connectors hard? If you know anything about shorts to ground its very effective.

lol if you use a big bulb yeah your fine...the wire is only made to carry so many amps its blowing the fuse cause its pulling to many and left pulling to many amps for to long will burn the wires.... what connectors are you going to pull? pulling a fuse is alot better cause each unit has its own fuse. trust me i do this all day at work..... i have all my ASE and you dont get them from not knowing any thing

replace ur wiring. and ecu and fuse. that will narrow it down.

You un plug different connectors in 1 circuit. The circuit may only have 1 fuse or "circuit protection", so it doesnt exactly narrow it down to a specific area for the short. I know what i'm talking about too. :wave1: besides with your ase's I shouldnt have to teach you electrical diagnosis.
