i just bought a d16 head i have never rebuilt a a motor .. so
so let me know some good parts i could use to re-build my head
and any tips use guys got would help

what D16 head did you buy? vtec or not? and what all are you trying to replace?

Z6 or Y8?

If you have the money to spend, get brand new OEM valve guides, Crower valves/valve springs/retainers and a Crower Stage 2 cam.

If you don't have a lot to spend, get brand new OEM valve guides/valve springs and a Crower Stage 2 cam. However, keep the revs below 7500.

As far as getting the head pressure tested and getting it worked over, that's up to you and your wallet.
