ok so heres the deal. i plan of building my first project. it will be a b16b type r legit!! lsd tranny. i plan to put it in a eg hatch, and boosting it.. prob some where around 10lbs. is there any one on here that has done such swap? if there is can you get me some info like on 1/4 mile time. how many lbs? or even if its stock what was the time? any info would be appreciated.. thank you.

the high compression pistons in the type r is not a good choice if you want to boost. boost.. you want to go low compression. especialy if you want to put more then 6 psi of boost

i would run about 10 PSI and just get a good fuel pump and some pretty big injectors. dont worry about compression. just make sure you get a good tune. it will scream. and dont cheap out on the turbo kit. Full race, AFI, Peak Boost, Import Power House.. any of those kits are the kits i would use.

ok take a stock B16A and boost it then take a stock B16B and boost it and see which one builds more power. and the compression on a B16B isnt that much higher. its only 10.76:1 a stock GSR is 10.57:1 so whats the difference?? i say do it. you alread y have the good vavle train and cams and rev capability. and it will have no preoblem holdin 10 PSI
