clean out the IACV. What are the symptoms, are you throwing a code, becasue it might be something else. I had problems and thought it was my IACV but it wasn't. Just trying to help you out before you go spend a bunch of money on something.

Check this out and read it. Lots of pics. Free fix and simple to do.

Same thing but ALOT more in depth. This one helped me the most.

I'm pretty sure it's the IACV because it's doing the idle high ilde low thing but hasnt thrown
a code yet. i allredy replaced the TPS so that better not be it.
Thanks for the tips and stuff.. i'll keep tryin:you rock:

i had the same problem. Surging idle, but not throwing a code. Trust me i replaced ALOT of shit before i found out what it was. Check the links that i posted earlier and they will fix your problem. All you do is take off the FITV and screw the plunger back into place. The vibrations from the engine cause it to back out and Honda recommends buying a new one but you can take it apart screw it back into place and then BAM problem solved. I did that to mine over almost 2 years ago and haven't had a single problem since.

Edit: The FITV is not hooked up to the ecu so it won't throw a code. Whereas the IACV is hooked up to the ecu and if it is bad it will throw a code. They give very similar symptoms when they go bad. The only thing that will differentiate the two is whether or not it is throwing a code.

No problem dude. I was pretty damn happy that i didnt have to blow a crap load of money on a valve when all i had to do was screw it back together. Glad i could help. If you have any other problems or questions i'll be glad to help you out.
