ZC questions....

ok.. im back once again. we finally got my dohc zc running in my crx.
it runs great!! but i do have just 1 problem. it has a weird noise to the motor. i wouldnt say weird but sounds like somethings unpluged. when you first turn on the car and i let it sit. it sounds like its chocking or its about to turn off.. and it shakes a bit. when u rev it up it goes away but when u let go of the gas it does it again. i already checked all the plugs and everything seems to be in order.. although there is 1 thing that could be it.. that plug that goes connected to the intake manifol (the 1 closer to the passenger) well that 1 is loose. i mean it grabs and everything. it wont fall of. but i feel like its not clamping right. could this be why? or this should make a difference? 2 other things. i canceled 2 little hoses. im wondering if this could be why as well? here are the pics

oh. i forgot we canceled 2 more..

this 1 goes connected to the housing, but we couldnt find
where the connection went to.. so we cancelled it,,,,,,,
(its the 1 towards the bottom, the 1 with the bolt stuck in there)

this 1 goes to the water by pass tube (the 1 that goes under the manifold )..
we couldnt find where that goes either so we cancelled it...

so these are my reasons why i think its sounding like it wants to dye on me..
can any1 think of anything else? id apreciate the help. jl if ur out there get me on this 1. just 1 more time! lol

hmm weird. when i did my DOCH ZC swap on my rex i didnt cancel anythin everything connected just right. plug and play. Oh and the VAC order was kinda wrong you might wanna check that out.

the one vacum hose that you plugged off. what does it go to? it looks like it goes to the MAP sensor. or does it go to the purge solenoid? if it goes to the map there is your problem

actually its just hanign there..
map sensor i believe....
where would it go..!?

By the looks of the pictures, those 2 coolant hoses you "cancelled" are supposed to go to IACV.

and the left vaccume hose on your im is supposed to go to the dashpot.
