What all under the hood can be painted??

I'm looking to get the inside of the hood area done nice so when I get into doing body/interior work it won't be nice on the outside and the motor be shitty...

So any help would be great.

under the hood? honestly a nice clean engine bay with nice base paint and a custom valve cover is all most engines need. Just degrease it and make it look tidy. Painting engine parts and electronics is not recommened :)

Well I mean like my buddies Mustang had a Ford Blue block, I don't want to like paint everything, just make it shine a bit.

Like paint the valve cover and polish some of the more important parts.


Is there anything I can do about all the tubes? To make them less ugly?

clean it with water. just clean it, dont use the artifical shine stuff, its really bad, sometimes it might even dry out the hose then crack like some of that tire shine stuff on tires
