sorry im new to the honda world here, i just picked up a 96 ex coupe, is this a ek4 or ek9?

To people that don't understand chassis codes (like him): 96-98 = EK4, 99-00 = EK9

Look in your vin silly, the chassis code is the 4th, 5th and 6th characters in the vin number.
But for those that are to lazy I will provide a link.

all front lips are interchangeable between USDM /JDM 96-98's they are not model level specific as all model levels have the same front bumpers, except the Sir wich is still the same minus the moudlings around the corners.
