Try to I dont think is an option man, if you entered into a MANS agreement with this person it is your responsibility to take care of your end.

He cannot return the paint especially if it was mixed to match your car which I am assuming it is, I would assume it wasnt a can of spray paint off the shelf at walmart.
Do the right thing and take care of the gentelman who trusted that you would come through on your word.

I only get involved in this as it has happened to the shop a couple times and these are my friends.

Hope this gets resolved in a mature and responsible manner

haha wow. well ya its not like i just flaked its that i was gonna fix my car and yesterday i took it to a body shop to fix my car in the afternoon and they said it was really messed up and about 3500 worth of work. so i said fuck that. cuz i was gonna take it to him to get painted last night. ok ill pay him after i get my shell tomorrow and as mch as i can at once extra. reallly tight for cash since my insurance fucked me on my accident
