ep3 owner's opinion

hey there, i currently have an EJ1, and this is for ep3 guys out there,, im planning to buy this car from some guy near my place, it's a 2003, 83,000 miles, salvaged title,,,he's offering $2500,,,but i can see on the pics that the backframe is wasted as hell, ,,,,, any opinions ? i believe the engine is in grrreat condition. i know the engine alone is worth a lot but im planning to buy the whole car, and you know, just look for salvaged parts around town. I would appreciate all comments. thanks :gives:

2500 i not that bad if u are gonna part out. but BTW the motor is not worth to much. and motor ecu and harness is worth about 1000-1500 if ur lucky. and if u do part out let me know i need some stuff. to get that frame pulled might be a grip of money too. buy it part it out here and on ephatch.com, take that money and go buy a good one. :)

probably not a good buy.

the engine and tranny will only fetch around $1000-1200 for a k20a3 and 5spd tranny.

if you are buying this to try and make money on it, you will be in for a long ride.

i would pass if i were you.

yeah, i didn't buy it...turns out he wants to let it go for 3650,,,,the back frame is bent as hell, and body shops will surely have a smile on their faces when i bring it to them.....so my plan is get a K20 for now,,,,,btw, is there a huge difference on the rsx and ep3??,,,,, how would a k20a3 differ?? ....my motor (d16z6) wants to retire, so im planning to get a K20 engine but its so expensive.i want to skip the b series and go straight to K, saves me more money i think..
