old gas

helping a buddy of mine who bought a 95 teg. shell that has about 3/4 of a tank....no telling how old this gas is...does the gas tank need to be removed, or is there an easier way of empting out the tank?

i believe there is a drain built into it

havnt really got down there and looked...tried to siphon it already
