If you are going from obd2 to obd1, you need to use a dizzy, injectors, the ecu and the alternator. It is also a good idea to remove the crank sensor on the motor for safe keeping(if you ever decided to go back to obd2 removing it will keep the parameters in check) plus it looks cleaner. And depending on what car and your motor of choice dizzy plugs will have to be switched, also a jumper harness on the computer side of the car will be needed to use the obd1 ecu.

OBD2 distributors are supposed to be better...Larger bearing im told, they last longer. Anyways, MSD sells a dist. adapter for OBD1harness to OBD2 dist...I bought one for my swap, they are like $30 bucks on ebay.

dizzy's are the same.....exept pulgs......and if you sticking a obd2 motor in a obd1 car. you dont need to change the engine harness.
