which do you guys perfer a B16A2 or a B18B??.....
i'm in a position where any engine swap would be good....in a reasonable price range...

well since i'm trying to up my post count, i'll be the first to chime in. if you want boost then run a b18b, though a b16 would work just as well. if you want all motor, then run a b16, or go b18b with a b16 or b18c head, either way will work. b18 motors are cheaper than b16 motors and the same goes for the heads. almost all b series parts interchange, feel free to mix and match to find the right combination. so to answer your question, without knowing what you REALLY want from your motor, i'll just tell you what i would do. b18b!
in theory you can have two cars in one with a b18b. you can build a sick ass turbo'ed beast, then pull the turbo kit and ls head off, throw a b16 head on and have an all motor beast, and change heads/remove turbo whenever you feel like it. it's a little more complicated than that, but in a nutshell that's pretty much it
