hey i was wondering if it'll be safe to run ctr pistons in a b18c1 for DD and pump gas? thanks!

isnt a b18c1 a gsr? y would you want to do that? higher comp? i would say it would be fine as long as you ran 91 octane and with a slight tune.

According to the c-speedracing compression calc you'd be at 12.8:1 so, no, not on 91. You would have to pull so much timing to keep it from detonating that it wouldnt be worth it at all. Plus ctrs weigh a ton. Plus the huge heavy dome isn't great for flame propagation.

Want some decent compression pistons that you can run on pump gas? Get some P30s. 11.5:1 with gsr head.
