B-series AC compressor on a D-series?

I know that you can put a D-series AC compressor on a B-series engine with a specific ac/engine bracket but what about the other way around? Can you put a B-series AC compressor on a D-series motor? If so which one is it?

would that benefit you as far as would i be colder then a D series compressor? or is that what you just have laying around?

^^^I'm going to guess it's what is available. Properly working, both a D and B series system/parts will work just the same.

hhhhmmmm.....this is a good question.....other than building your own bracket, I don't know how you would do it.....
