New Rsx???

I'm planning to get a RSX Type-S and sell my EG6 :ballin:, I am looking at a 2003-2004.

Well i went to a few dealerships and the auto trader, but the Acura dealerships says that ]they stopped making the RSX alltogether the 2006's are it.

Is Honda coming up with a new body possibly a INTEGRA TYPE-R this time???? Just want to see here if anyone has heard or read anything, and pics maybe.

Found this in another forum... and the rumor is that it might be TURBO to compete againts the EVO and WRX Categories..... Don't know but that's what Ive heard.....

i dont see it competing with wrx and evo's, it most likely will be fwd, i have heard about it too tho, i hope this happens... by then i should have the evo paid for, id love to pick one up

It would be even better if the C-rex came back boosted I will so get one but who knows what honda is really thinking next thing you know the civic is gonna be pulled off assembly lines

actually the current civic is doing fairly well, honda is only down 1.8% in sales mainly due to the fact that their truck/suv lines aren't doing so hot. Expect them to revamp that area first...

The CSX is a pretty suweet car, cant wait till its over here!

yup and i do like the 2003-2004's better ( its the headlights and tails ) and i would JDM this one also. But the real reason is i need to grow up a bit and get a car with A/C and just a bit more room in the back. im sad at one end to get rid og the Eg6 hope who ever desides to pick it up loves her as much as i , but on the other end it would be cool to hook up the new ride.

They canned the RSX because of the new SI why would they want to compete with themselves? Been rumors of a 2 door tsx turbo AWD or a whole new car in between the tsx and tl with performance in mind. Whatever it is its going to be sick.

i doubt honda will be making a turbo'd car, the closest we honda guys we'll get could be a supercharger as seen on the Mugen Civic Dominator!!! although these jap's keep them all to themselves

i am pretty sure the rsx will not be coming back to america anytime soon. just like said above, the rsx was pretty much just like a civic si in every way. they had just about equal performance and were not selling like the civic si's. something new will come out though i am sure. why not look at a new civic si? they have like 10hp less and come with lsd. the performance is just about the same between the two.

Honda already has a turbo RDX. Why wouldn't they get in the turbo game? its the newest hype and they have to keep up with the competition.

^^^^actually , i believe the rsx was discontinued due to the fact that acura was getting out of the sports car area. the new civic was to replace the rsx. so the civic was brought forth becuase of the demise of the rsx. so they didnt can it because of the si. FYI
