ok guys i have a D15b engine i just swapped out my old mani for a skunk 2 intake mani
once everything is connected back its idle out of control from 1000rpm to 2500rpm
throws a CE light took it for a drive and runs ok just idles like crazy and also i noticed on the side it has a port for some vacum
What in the hell goes there cause when i put my finger i calms down???

looks like air temp sensor.. u cant hav any vacuum leaks or else ur idle will b fucked up lol

try looking at ur wiring u probably didnt hook it up. or see if there is one on ur old intake manifold and if there is then u didnt hook it up and it is there somewhere. or just go to a junkyard and pull 1 off a civic just to cover up the hole..

well last night i was looking around and i didnt have a cable or harness like that
even on my old mani there is nothing like that
well even if i did go and get one from a junk yard i have no clue on were it would harness to

find one off an older accord/civic like 88-91 take a screw driver and remove the 2 bolts. then just screw it in the new one. u dont need to hook up the wires if ur old one didnt have it.

ok i guess that would be a good way to seal it
some guy from skunk told me to JDmweld it some type of liquid metal would be a good way to seal it shut??

i think you should find the sensor on your wiring harness and plug it in.. you should have it.. i had it on my d15b.. otherwise get like some gasket maker stuff or JBweld and plug it..

well the skunk guy told me i can relocate it but if its already on the CAI setup so not worth it
hey dreams can you post a pic of ur d15b setup
i might just put a small screw see if it runs tomorrow since i have to take it to work no choice

ok screw went in idle is alot better love the upgrade and response
does anyone hear like a small wisal sound sometimes
