Driverside window, need help

I was trying to work on my friends car, because his driver side window fell down and does not want to roll up. I took everything apart and there is a loose wire, I think the wire pulls it up and down (power window) i honestly have no freakin clue, can someone help me out!?!

Could be the regulator? Happened to both my windows n had to replace the regulator it worked

ya there is like a metal bracket that connects to it. a screw could have fell out which just dropped the window
does the window roll up at all
