Rally Red With Gold Wheels?

WHATS UP EVERYONE. I HAD A QUESTION I HAVE MY 01 CIVIC AND THE COLOR IS RALLY RED AND I WANT IT TO STAND OUT A BIT. YOU THINK GOLD WHEELS WITH THE CHROME LIP WOULD LOOK GOOD OR WHAT (17-18 INCH). I HAVENT SEEN TO MANY CARS WITH GOLD WHEELS BUT IF DONE RIGHT THEY LOOK SICK. OR SHOULD I JUST KEEP IT SIMPLE AND PUT BLACK ROTAS ON THERE. CAUSE EITHER WAY IM PUTTING K-SPORT COILOVERS ON AND THE VIS CARBON FIBER HOOD AND TRUNK. NO ENGINE MODS CAUSE COME ON ITS A D17 AND YOU CANT MUCH WITH IT. ILL WAIT TIL I CAN DO A K-SWAP. SO GUESS MY CAR WILL BE ALL SHOW AND NO GO. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AND IF YOU PICS OF SOME WHEELS THAT WOULD HELP ME ALOT. THANKS EVERYONE. :smoke:

I personally like the red with gold rims. i think it makes the car stand out. i think some sportmax 16" with like a +15 offset would be real nice. roll the fenders if needed. it'd look dope with the lip on those wheels.

17's are too small. We can fit 18's with ease and still slam the car. Go big or go home my friend.

let me rephrase...... I don't think 19's look all that great... Not that they "can't" but that most don't or they tuck them so tight in the wheel well or rub that it's almost fucking pointless to have them.

On which? Any wheel will rub given the correct camber. Doesn't matter if it's a bigger wheel and less tire or more tire and a smaller wheel. The overall size still puts the rubber close to the fender. It's just the look you prefer (and that every speedracer on this site deems anything over 16" too much rotational mass for their SUPERHONDAS)

On both the cars that you posted. The one's i've seen people try to do you can't even see the rubber on the wheels in the upper portion and it rubs like hell. Most people don't know how to do a wheel setup on a honda. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but i atleast know what will look good and what won't for my ride.

That's my car in every photo, just different wheels. The only setup that rubs is the current one and that's because I'm on an 8" wide wheel (and my fenders are rolled). ANY 7.5" wheel never rubbed (without rolled fenders), and with my stereo setup I nearly tucked RIM on 17's.

Anything below an 18" aftermarket wheel is retarded looking on the EM2 unless you plan are making your car go fast, then you get smaller wheels. Duh!
