I'd say LS since its cheap and later on you could get a B20 long block and swap that in. OR, if you can, H22. It'd be more fun in that car.

Alright, here's what you do; Get a 351 Windsor. HAS to be the Windsor block. All you need is the block. (I reccomend a 4-bolt bottom ended block) Then get a forged steel crank for a 400 Modified. Have the crank pins grinded and sized for a stock 396 connecting rod. Get Eagle Forged Steel H-Beam rods for a 396. Bore the block .030" over, and get a set of forged pistons for it. I reccomend the JE flat tops for it. They make a set that put a stock 351 at 11.0:1 compression ratio. Get those. Get a set of Brodix 2.08"in./1.60"ex. heads, with the 64cc chambers. Outfit them with Manley or Milodon stainless steel valves, and Comp Cams makes a killer spring-retainer set for them. Get those, but MAKE SURE they're the ones that are set up for push rod guide plates. Then get the Comp Cams 351 billet roller cam that's 304 degrees of duration and .576" lift. Then the Edelbrock Performer RPM dual plane manifold, and a set of ceramic coated Heddman or Hooker Headers, and the MSD Pro-Billet distributor with the MSD 6AL box, and a Holley 670 CFM carb, and you've got a 500+hp, 480+ft.lb/tq motor. It's a bad ass machine. That's MY reccomendation anyway.

#1 Build and boost your motor
#2 K series swap

B series isnt an option in this vehicle unless you want to spend more than the K swap, makes no sense.
