obd1 yes
jump to an obd1?
i did that but y7 has no iac so the idle if messed up...
i need it only temp
seeing if i can use the auto ecu and ditch the obd1 that is asking for iac

y7 does have a iac it's a 3wire iac obd1 ecu looks for a 2 wire iac so as i understand it if your going to jump ur ek with a y7 you need to change the in mani to one that uses a 2wire iac an than rewire the car to function with a 2 wire iac when I dropped the y8 in my ride i had to do it here is the info i used to help me out

scroll untill you see ecu and wiring tech an than look at the one for obd2a or obd2b depending on which you have hope this helps

I don't deal with auto's to often so I can't tell you for sure but I can tell you that the p28 is a vtec ecu I can also tell you that if you have an auto ecu u can have it converterd to a manual ecu
