The cluster that came with my car didnt have a tach so i got a oem replacement that has it. I was looking for a place that would be able to set the odometer in the new cluster to whats on my old one. Anyone know a shop that would be able to do it.

I took it to the dealership and they cant do it.

Legally you can't touch the odometer on the cluster, so no shop is going to touch that if they are a legitimate business. Search on honda-tech for some diy stuff, I've gone two on tegs, one turned out fine, the other didn't... watch ebay for one with mileage close to your current one & save yourself some time & $.

this one has more miles then i have on my car and i found a shop that would do it, but i would have to mail it to them. I just want it set to exactly the correct amount of miles i have on my car. Cause i dont want to wait until i have the same miles on my car as there is on the new cluster.

I've gone there before, they don't work on imports they said :(. Also, on the cluster, i read somewhere that the only way to do it was at the dealership. Our clusters are digital, so there is no way to "roll back" like on the older generation hondas.

I'm fairly sure its a felony to change the mileage reading on a cluster.

federal offense wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think it's felony level... kinda like no cat I think...

Its not like im going to lie about the miles on my car. I plan on having it set to the correct amount of miles i have. I think it would be worse to install the new one with wrong mileage.

there are places out there that will reprogram the milage. I did some research on it when i put hybrid gauges in my coupe. I know I found one company in VA.. dont remember the name.
