it cranks but the starter seems not to turn the tranny thing so no start and i tried push start but to no avail....

can any1 help

Bad gas for one. Loses octane..

Check the Battery.

Is it getting fuel? Spark?

Well, the gas part is right, but if the engine is not even turning, you probably have a bad battery, or a bad starter.

Take both off and take them to autozone to get em tested...

i would put some more gas in it if you dont want to drop the tank and check the spark for sure, other than that what do you mean tranny thing??

Even if he's getting 9344343565 psi of gas its not going to work if the starter is not turning over the engine!

How does it sound like its not turning the flywheel, is it just clicking? Or is it slow? Be more specific your description is kind of vague.

He tried push starting it and it still didn't work.. So that shows it's something besides just the starter... Correct?
