tire pressure is key....the markings on your tires after a session will tell you what you need to do on each tire to up/down the pressure.....

I used to get my azenis greeesy as all hell after 3 back to back sessions....ICE WATER cools them down....LOL

More than 2 saki bombers are a guaranteed puke for me, but usally the night of, not the morning after. :drunk: Not sure why they don't jive with my stomach. Yes, on Sunday. First session of DE4 is usually best since its a 'warmup' session and I'm usually not going for a 'fast' time.

Yep. My father-in-law (Vette dude) knew the driver and unfortunately he was indeed "a test drive" to see if he wanted to buy that car. He said the driver owns a C5 Z06 with the stock 405 crank HP which typically make 370-380 to the wheels. I guess that C5 made around 550WHP and obviously it takes a more gentle touch on the throttle coming out of T9...

Hey "fmx_dbc", glad you made it out finally! How did those pads end up working out for you? FYI - the pads I sold you were XP-6's or XP-8's. I upgraded to XP-10's and have about twice the material of the ones I sold you. I'm going to upgrade my entire braking system so I'll have these pads for sale shortly if you're interested.

Tage, thanks again. Everything worked really well. Those Carbotechs grab really hard which is definitely good for the track.
I'm thinking about trying out some Hawk pads to see if I can put my foot into the pedal more. I have almost no problem locking those little 15's up. I also ended up using a remanned 13/16"s master cylinder. I tried out the 15/16' and a 7/8" and it really changed the pedal throw and the brakes were like a lightswitch as soon as my foot touched the pedal. Pretty happy with my setup now though.
I just need SUSPENSION!!!! My tires and suspension were only allowing my to carry about 80mph through nascar 3&4 (Street tires, Bridgestone Potenza's). So if anyone knows of any good deals on coilovers for an EF.... RIGHT HERE <<<-------------
I'll keep those pads in mind Tage. Won't be driving my car for about 3 months so plenty of time to work on it. I think the weekend at the track wore on my rings quite a bit. It burns A LOT more oil than it used to!
