ok i have a 00 si and i am going to take off the power steering to make room for a turbo setup and stuff. what do i need to cap off on the rack????

you dont wanna just 'cap it off' lol. you need to loop the two lines together that come out of the rack. just cut off the lines that come out of the rack leaving a few inches of steel line exposed, and get a high pressure hose and just loop 'em! the goal is to keep the inside of the rack lubricated. if you turn left, the fluid will push to the right, if you turn right, it will push to left. thus recycling the fluid and not just leaving it dry. hope that helps!

^^^^ this is the half assed way or you can do it right and get a NON Power steering rack and do it right

that too. it's better then what i did on my sol. lol just cut em off and leave em hangin! screw it. 'boosted muscle' dont do what i did and not loop em, just bein silly in this post.

on my old hatch i just took the system of and letit bleed out it never gave me problems but you should eather loop or get the non power

where is the best place to find a non power rack? I work to checker auto and they are like three bills with my discount of 20%. If anyone has one for sale that would work pm me.
