use the stripper to get most of it off, use a drill attachment sand paper thing to sand most of the paint down. clean off with alcohol when all paint is gone. prep for paint. do as many coats of primer you want. and just spray with paint.

use the stripper..
then i used a scrapper.
similar to a spackel spreader..
to get the bubbled paint off.
then i let it soak in soap and water.. light sand. primer.

i wouldve just kept it the stock wrinkled black but since you alrady stripped the paint off, might as well polish the thing. blingblangin

IMO I like the stripped look with the painted plug cover, but do what makes you happy when you open that hood
