i have a 98 b18c5 usdm itr motor. just recently i placed a 2000 integra gsr ignition coil into my distributer. For some reason at high rpms around 6000-8000 the car starts back firing alot kinda seems like the sparks not igniting the fuel. But has anyone ever heard of this and could it be the ignition coil, do i need a itr one or is it something else? thanks

I dont know if this could be it ?? but what fuel pump are you using, the stock D series fuel pump, cause my car integra had the same problem and it was a fuel problem??

i believe i have a walbro 255 fuel pump, and it ran fine until i put the gsr ingnition coil in it but i heard u can put any b-series ignition coil into any b-series
