Are the Model numbers the same? I'm sure they'll bolt up, but might not have the same gearing.

The tranny will bolt up to the engine as all F22 trannies are the same engine wise.

But, the tranny mount was a little bit different from 1990-1993 then the one from 1994-1997, so in order to use your stock tranny mount, you will have to drill and tap a different set of bosses on the 1993 tranny. If you try to put your tranny mount on the 1993 tranny, the holes I am talking about should be pretty obvious.

Also, something to keep in mind, is that not all 1990-1993 trannies had the extra set of bosses cast into the case. The change started in 1992 with the release of the Prelude I believe, because the Prelude uses a tranny mount very similar to yours, and it also came with an F22.

With a 1993 tranny, it should just be a matter of tapping the other set of holes, but just in case they aren't there, that is why.

The only f22 trans that has the extra bosses is the h2u5 which came in the ex.
