Broken window crank

Hope this is the right forum.

My window crank sorta POPPED out of place. I tried taking a look behind the door panel, but I couldn't get it off because it seems like the hand crank needs to come off in order to get off the panel. Am I right?

yes there is a little horseshoe clip on the window crank, you can use a booger hook {pick} or a door panel removal tool {autozone} to pop the clip off, then the handle will come off and your door panel is free.

I've managed to pop those clips out using a rag. Just slide the edge of the rag into the crack and slide it up and down until the rag snags the clip and pops it loose.
