hey guys i have a d15b vtec was thinking about getting the new aem v2 intake looks nice and would maybe help since i have a cheap ebay CAI

has anyone grabbed this any input??? want to know if it is worth the 260

my buddy has one on his Y8 and he likes it. dont know if its really worth the 260 though

on a single cam you won't notice a thing. The different between ebay and aem is the quality of the material it is made with. Aem diffuses the heat more efficiently and faster as opposed to the regular intake tube found on ebay. 40 vs 260 ..... Might as well go for 40. But in a bigger na set up go with quality.

the aem v2 was designed (big chamber into a smaller chamber) for a tornado effect, the two chambers working together makes air "spiral" and get sucked in faster.....i have a zero1000 intake which uses the same technology but mine was more expensive because the bigger chamber is made of carbon fiber....but to be honest i didnt notice any difference in power, its just louder at high rpms

i have a v2 on my b18 made a huge diff VS my AEM ram.
totally worth the 2 bills!

in most cases you are just paying for a name. but i have heard very good things about the AEM v2 intake. im definitely going to be purcasing one for my wifes eg. remember you get what you pay for.

well i have no plans to swap i love the jdm d15b light and good on gas plus if i really want more power ill turbo

i have a cheap ebay intake so i think this would be a nice upgrade
has anyone had problems when it rains with this intake?

even if u were to turbo it u would still be faster with a b16 and bolt ons.....
