Help with B16 swap!!..

Hey whats up guys!..i purchased a B16 that came out of a 99-00 Si with a GSR tranny..it came with the shift linkage..Cv `s..and a DC header!..when the guy dropped the motor off at my house he forgot to bring the ECU and the wiring harness!..now hes in jail for a DUI and i cant get a hold of him..Do i really need the 99-00 Si ECU and the harness?..or would My ECU and wiring harness would toO?..i have a 99 EK..and also what else should i worry about getting before i do the swap?..Thanks Guys..Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!..

you can use your engine harness and add the vtec wires in if you car isnt an EX model or if its and EX model then everything will plug in. your ecu will work for the time being

But if i use My stock harness would i have to bypass the knock sensor and all that?..and hey would a P2t ECU work for my Swap?..Thanks for the replies guys!..

Oh it is a DX

your ecu will work well enough to make the car turn over but that's about it see the p2t looks for a 3 wire iac and gsr's have a 2wire iac so just by putting that motor in your ek with that ecu you will cause your self to have a headache of problems. by using that ecu u wouldn't have v-tec,iab, knock or a correctly functioning iac. the harness will work you just need to mod it

SO the P2t ECU wouldnt work?..i purchased it off from some guy who said it came off from a 99-00 Si!..
