I just bought a 96-98 mesh grill for my civic and my car is a 97 but the grill didnt fit.. but it fit my buddies 99 civic.. is it cause of my front bumber or just the wrong grill..

u might have got the wrong grill cus the 96-98 civic front end is the same. what kinda grill is it? is the CTR grill? posts some pics of the grill u got.

99-00 grills are diff then 96-98 ones so u just got the wrong one.

yea if fit your buddies 99, its a 99-00 front grill, and thats different from your 97 grill

yea if u change the bumper,hood,fenders,grill...and u can add a si or str lip for good measure!!

HAHA i was a lil confused but its all good.. sold the grill to blackouthx and i just used that cash and buying a new one for my car.. But thanks for the help guys...
