Just wondering if anybody checked out this month's modified magazine relating to the article about DC Single Canister Exhaust and 4-2-1 header. I think it's pretty impressive seeing a 30+ Hp gain off some minor exhaust bolt on mod's? Anyway tell me what you all think.

Insane Gains on an Auto Dc5

Parts tested: DC Sports sinle canister exhaust and 4-2-1 header
Car: 2003 Acura RSX Automatic
Engine 2.0L K20A3 Inline-4
Relevent Mod's: Injen intake

dC sports single canister exhaust system features a polished round barrel style canister and a straight cut, hour inch top with an etched dc sports logo on it. The exhaust is cnc mandrel bent from 3t304 stainless stell, robotically welded, with a straight through muffler core and utilizes the factory mounting locations for an easy install. The 4-2-1 One piece header is also CNC madrel bent using a data acquired from DC Sports non-contact digtizing scanner. The result is a header that delivers excellent low to mid range power gains, while improving ground clearance and reducing weight by eliminating the middle flanges.

We were happily surprised to see such an impressive numbers out of the DC exhaust and header combo especially since this was a base model RSX with an auto trans. Anytime you can gain almost 30 whp on an NA engine with these kind of bolt-ons is very surprising! It just oes to show that some cars are able to pick up some serious hp just by freeing up the exhaust tract. The RSX now delivers more power throughout the RPM band and makes driving the car so much more entertaining. The exhaust note did greatly increase. However, the silencer hels out tremendously but with a loss in power. No complaints though if you want the most power you'll have to live with the sound.

Gain's 26.7 WHP
+16.8 WTQ

Before dc sports exhaust and header
108 shp & 101.3 ft pounds of torque

after was 135.2 hp and 118 ft lbs of torque

"to me this sounds pretty impressive"
