Just an idea but I think there should be a min post count in order for you to post things for sale. Theres a lot of peeps on here that sign up just to sell shit.

agreed. 100 posts. seems extreme but that way all sellers are community members.

And the words LoL and K should not add to post counts lol

Just make sure that buyers don't have to be over 100 post counts.

100 min. posts for sellers, no minimum for buyers. Posts in Classifieds dont count towards post count, do they?

its kind of like what honda-tech does. you can't participate in the classifieds until you have been on the site for a certain amount of days or weeks

Same With Preludepower.com

Some forums do 90 days, some do 10 post. I would say 2 weeks and 20 post. I wouldn't try to prevent people from joining to sell something just make sure they are serious about the AZHT community.

I would say a minimum of 50 posts.

i think we could wait an eternity for people to post and you kids would still flake, low ball and complain.

^^^ true , however it would reduce the # of fly by night registrations of part spammers etc.

not a bad idea but 100 post is steep. i have been here for a while and i don't even think i have that many. doing like a week or 2 and like 20 post wouldn't be bad.

just my .02 cents.

i say 100 is fine, there is some many people on here that have a zero post count but like 20 for sale adds

i say no. the only problem we have is someone posting something for sale and not replying back. no one is out anything but the 10 seconds it took to post. what is the actual ratio of this anyways? no one knows. it might just kill the classifieds all together, a risk that is not offset by the "negatives" people have posted.

i dont think anyone one here is scamming because you actually MEET to do the exchange. if youre that dumb to get scammed in person, that had nothing to do with the other persons post count.
