For anyone that cares....I went out again....fun times.....great weather, the car loved the cold temps, I didn't remove my headlight incase is began to rain.....

Got a new alignment Friday

1/32th Toe Out Front
-1.5 Camber Front
+3 Caster

0 Toe Rear
-2.5 Camber Rear

Car feels great, I have to run the tire pressue low as fuk but thats cuz of the cheapie tires I'm currently running...softened up the dampening on the teins and its planted!!!

On to the pics...

worn out street tires won't put you into the wall in T1......

.....braking and/or lifting over the transition will.

I'll also add that turn 1 at PIR is one of the very few turns that's more dangerous the slower you go. If you're going to slow and loose control in this turn it will typically point you towards the wall, and if you don't correct fast enough the tires will eventually hook up and shoot you right into the wall. You usually only see drivers in DE1/2 hit the "inside" wall of T1 at PIR.

If you're driving too fast in T1 and loose control you'll typically end up in the grass or up on the oval which results in nothing more than a damaged ego. T1 or T2 are probably the two safest places at PIR to "overdrive" but this is where most drivers go to slow in (besides the oval).

P.S. Jeremy, I'm glad to hear everything worked out and your car is already fixed (FYI - Jeremy wasn't driving the car when it got damaged).

FYI - there is no such thing as a car that is "planted". If the car feels like it's on rails, it's because you're not driving at the limit of the car.

With those alignment specs it likely understeers like crazy...

i run 3 degrees up front and my brother 3.5

i choose to conserve tires a little more than him.

you shouldnt worry about tire wear as much as us with your power.

remeber, looose is fast.

sup jeff....yeah 120-125whp......MAYBE!! hahaha

Amazingly Tage, the car is not tail happy..........its perfect...I also run DA rear TA's....its a wider stance out back......I dunno....

I want to add 1 more degree caster up front and move to -2 to -2.5 camber up front, but I need a diff camber kit for that....we'll see....

Understeer, not oversteer. Understeer means the car pushes.

i run -3 all the way around.
i rather run fewer laps that are faster then run a few more laps and all of them be slower.
conserving tires to sacrifice handling on a track car doesnt' make since.

Well again, it doesn't matter if the car is or isn't tail happy. There's no such thing as a car that is perfect. If you're driving at the limit, the car is either going to be:

- Oversteering (sometimes fun)
- Understeering (almost never fun)
- Doing a slight 4 wheel drift (<--THE BEST and fastest way around the turn)

IF THE CAR IS PLANTED, YOU'RE NOT DRIVING AT THE LIMIT, PERIOD!

actually it was cold worn out race tires.... AND my friend was entering turn 1 slower than on street tires used in the 1st session so it makes no sense.

It honestly was a accident...NBD....it happens...that car has tons of track time on it.

Also it will be @ the next event with both myself and Nic driving.
