considering the s2ks have hids in the projectors from the factory, would all I need to do is use a higher kelvin ds2 or d2s hid bulb and re use the harnesses and ballasts on the car originally that were powering the 4300k bulbs?

Sorry for the confusion, I am playing on just changing the color/temp of the hids (bulbs) and was wondering if the oem ballasts etc could handle it or even plug and play with the new bulbs or if I needed the whole hid kit, bulbs, ballasts, etc. Thanks for the info

you just need new bulbs that have the oem d2s base. some d2s have wires to connect to the aftermarket kits. the ballasts dont care about color temp. higher color temp is actually a "cooler" color.
