Hey Dallis, did your have the Eibach logo stamped on the springs?? The one's I got got only have the model number and no Eibach logo. But they did come in Eibach box and stickers and stuff

Rufus
02-18-2008, 04:04 PM
Eh, they're too dirty, and the car is too low to see. Call Eibach

MrRline2010
02-18-2008, 04:09 PM
I think I may pick these up. Do you recommend these over tein. I've heard they were quality, but want to make sure.

what else are the eibachs going on? eibachs are lower spring rates so they are softer making for a nicer ride. beleive me the bumpy ride gets old after a while. i love my eibachs had them on two different cars now they both are awesome

Ya but those are 35 series. You can find something online that compares overall wheel diameter.

MrRline2010
02-19-2008, 10:36 AM
hmmm that probably wouldn't be too bad. Does the rear rub at all?

YuckerDisMe

craigslist sucks, I have never been able to find anything i wanted on craigslist.

Rufus
02-19-2008, 10:41 AM
Well my setup is slightly different. I actually have stock springs int he back with a single rung cut out because of my stereo weight. So it sits even now. With my camber at 100% vertical and people in the back, it rubs very gently. I can't see where it rubs either. My fender are rolled though. That drop on 17's will not rub. I had 17's long ago with the eibachs in the back and I was fine.

MrRline2010
02-19-2008, 10:43 AM
That's the only thing I was really worried about at all was rubbing. I want a functional civic not a donk fest car.

Rufus
02-19-2008, 10:47 AM
If you want to slam it you need coilovers, however, many will argue that it will ride like shit and you will lose your "functionality". I wouldn't expect those springs to tuck.

i was on sprint springs with stock struts on 17s and loved the way it rode i think i only had a 2finger gap or so been so long

02-19-2008, 11:13 AM

MrRline2010
02-19-2008, 11:19 AM
He's had em on for about less than 10 I know that. honda installed them for him. Of course they also blew both his front struts during install

clean4door
02-19-2008, 12:03 PM
ya that could have alot to do with it i had mine installed at work (toyota) by one of the techs and was never a prob

Rufus
02-19-2008, 12:11 PM
I don't know how you blow struts during an install. Likely, they cut the bump stops and then hit a pretty decent bump to 86 em. I've killed a set too but it took about 80k miles of driving to do it and I've been lowered since a month after buying the car new.

MrRline2010
02-19-2008, 12:19 PM
they blew both of them on the "test ride" then had to buy him new ones

Rufus
02-19-2008, 12:27 PM
