In a couple weeks, Sunday March 9th, anyone else going? I'll be taking the teg out, it'd be nice to see some more Honda's show up & it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the NASA events...

True.

...but you're paying ~$30 for 3 minutes of seat time vs. $130 for 80 minutes of seat time and not having to shag cones for 45 minutes.

Not hating on autoX (I still autoX from time to time), just playing devils advocate for open track days in general, and not necessarily just NASA events.

Sorry Justin, can't make it although it would be fun but i will be at PIR with NASA trying my damnest to pass those pesky v-8's when they try drag racing out of turn nine into the front stretch and learning how to drive the track with boost.

this is how the shifting sequence goes, first gear, second gear.... first gear, second gear... first gear, second gear... ehhh dodging cones in a parking lot isn't my idea of fun. g/l though.

I'll be out there with you guys from NASA soon, it's just not in the budget anytime soon, auto-x is just a cheaper alternative for me to have some fun legally. & I finally have my boost setup done to help with those big v8's too

usually it's just 1st, 2nd.... 2nd.... 2nd.... maybe a short burst into 3rd, 2nd... 2nd.... better than the 1/4 mile boringness of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & no turns...

Auto-X isn't everyone's cup of tea, what I like about it is you get 30-45 turns within like 30seconds, very fast paced & a lot of fun for me. But hey, I also love canyon runs & passing in blind turns, it's not for everyone.

No doubt....and a great way to start honing your skills for the roadcourse. Most great autoXers have an easy time transfering the car control skills to the roadcourse.

Glad to see more H&A guys are getting into the driving events that are actually fun in a Honda!!!

so long as it's small & not impairing your vision I wouldn't worry about it, but then again I'm not the tech guy.

This is a fair statement. PM me a link to a picture of your windshield, and I can forward the image to the tech guys and let you know in advance.
