Ive been smoking lenses for a few years now, i dont recommend night shades. I cant tell you how many people have come to me to have their lights redone the correct way because they had thiers done with night shades.They look alright at first, but go through a summer or two and they fade. I use high quality clear that is tinted to the level you want it. I guarantee it not to chip, peel or crack as ong as they are taken care of.
I charge$60 per pair and that includes the spaying and a show quality finish with a wet sand, buff, polish and wax. PM me if you are interested.
Here are some pics of some ive done;

It takes about a day. If you were to drop them off one day, i could have them back to you the next day.

I actually mix black toner (additive that is mixed to darken paint) with the clearcoat to get the specific level of darkness the customer wants. This creates a much more transparent layer so as not to block light from passing through the lens like those whos spray on base coat black and clear over it, or mix the two together.

Yea this is pretty much the only way to do it at least for anyone that knows what they are doing and does a quality job. I've been smokin lights for 5yrs now. I've done em all from benz to honda. Same day turn around time from me sounds like the only diff. Work looks good man.

There's also a special technique w a special order black candy that I like the outcome a lot w. Make the finish look very pure and deep rather than some of the work you see some ppl do.
