Attempted theft Tucson

So last night at about 3:00am in the central area of tucson, 1st and grant, my boy (2000 blkcivic) on here heard his car turning over in his front yard and came out to investigate to see someone in his car trying to start it soo he did what any of us would of done.. Ran over ripped the door open and beat the shit out of him till he didnt move anymore.. then cuffed him to the fence and called the 50's.. Well done by anthony.. They booked the theif and took his jiggler he was using for the theft.. Simple things can help prevent your car from being stolen. Just ask anthony.

I had someone try to get in my car down on Park. Fucking tweaker messed up the driver's window motor by trying to force the window down. Tells me he was just in it for the stereo because otherwise he would have just stolen the whole car :P

Anyone who "wouldn't hesitate to shoot" a simple Honda thief (face it Hondas are NOT luxury, expensive rides) should never be trusted with a weapon.

Yes, I think car thieves are the scum of this town (along with some other categories of trash), but to shoot someone over a petty Honda (yes, effectively end their life) has a serious control issue.

Not Exactly legal in AZ.
You can only use the same force in defense.
Protection of property in AZ is a joke.
You can only use deadly force if you GENUINELY feel YOUR life or anothers life is in immediate danger. You CANNOT use deadly force to protect property.

If you shoot a thief in your driveway and all he has are jiggler keys, you will be going to jail too. Its a little different if he approaches you with, say, a knife or bat or a lead pipe. Then your life is in immediate danger. But if you can avoid a physical confrontation (ie) calling the cops from inside, then the law basically says you have to do that.

I spent 8 hours in Concealed Carry class just to learn that you really cant shoot anybody unless they are already pointing a gun at you.

Move to Texas. You can shoot people just for looking at your property! LOL
