Just wanted to let someone know that i'm not digging the sponsored links in the thread. I could see if it was like civicforums where if you register they go away, but still not digging it. just my .02 cents

You're also not paying to keep this site running, but I agree.

hey I bought a set of stickers last week, I don't mind a small contribution here and there to keep the site running. I never noticed a "donation" option anywhere on the site.

Opinion noted.

The links will stay and there will be more of them as soon as I figure it out.

Look just set a link off to the side or create a link thread and ask us to click the each link once a day to help keep the site running. I'm more than in agreeance to that one, or if you must just put it at the bottom of threads or to the side like car domain does.

if you need help I know some 12 and 13 year old's from a 2d gameing site that can help ya out. Their really good with web design.

exactly. Throwing 5 dollars in helps but really doesnt allow for a constant stream of money to afford the site upkeep. As the site gets bigger so does the need for larger hosting and up goes the bill. Deal with the adds or kindly log out.

Why don't you just put the ad's at the bottom of the page? My only complaint was that it makes it harder to read the threads with the ad's in it. I don't have a problem with the advertising, just maybe as a side bar or on the bottom of the page and main page

Quit complaining...Everything thing costs money. They are trying to keep costs down.I see no problems at all where the ads are.You just have to scroll down a little farther.

Then get these

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

Website upkeep costs on just forums, even with high traffic, is actually really low.

I've seen some forums place it in the F.S threads. the first post in the actual thread. Works out pretty well. I dont mind scrolling down but it would be a good way to add on.

I have to agree with you, hosting is very cheap and if you guys are paying too much at goDaddy (which we all know, rips people off) I would suggest
www.site5.com, very cheap and good service and more bandwith that you can use! ;)

I have no issues with my hosting provider or the price. Pretty much all forums use google adsense. I should have started it a long time ago. Its just another way to earn income from a forum, thats all.
