Resistor box with new injectors?

My brother and I are doing a turbo set up on his y8.
I thought switching out the injectors and Maybe even clips would be it.

BUt I've been researching it And people say we need a Resistor box.

What Is it?

Do I really need it?

And If yes, How would I wire it?
