need help question

I have a DC2 while checking for any codes, I thought when you jumper the connector after a second or two the system should blink if normal and no code, is this correct. or does the indicator light stay solid?

if you have no codes and you jump the scs connector the ligh will stay solid.

so if your light is not on and you jump it and it stays on, your good.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I guess I'm not sure whats normal when you first turn the ignition switch to the on position. What happens. I know this sounds weird but the car is new to me and has not been running for over a year. Any help is greatly appreciated.
