7oz beer bottles

since i know a majority of members on this board enjoy drinking beer, does anybody have a reasonable explanation why the brewers thought the public needed a case of 7oz bottles?

hahah I've seen these things too. I'm pretty sure they were designed for underage drinkers, mainly so they can brag to their friends about how they can drink 15 beers and STILL not be drunk.

2 7oz botles is 2 more oz than a regular 12oz bottle.....so you are buying more...and drinking faster......DRINKING MORE!!

I bought them by accident, never gave much thought to why they made them. Maybe its to make the lightweights feel like they can hang with the normals...
