Anyone that doesn't understand why track officials are so anal when it comes to safety rules should watch this video. It's entertaining to watch but for me it was a real wake up why officials don't want you standing on tire barriers, walls and anywhere near the track in general.

1:37 - how the hell do you jump the wall going in a straight line?
1:58 - the reason that pit crews are required to wear nomex!

its funny how he says. turn the ignition off. turn the ignition off. umm the engine is no longer in the car... im pretty sure the ingnition circut has been cut.


that sounds like nate when i wrecked my car... complelty totaled. he told me to turn my headlights off cause id drain the battery.... douche

Its to turn off the fuel pump so that fuel is not pumping out of the severed lines onto hot headers or other ignition sources

its safe to say that the circut that controls that has been in some way interupted already. i do understand its a saftey protocol
