Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a new exhaust for the EP3 turbo. The E-Bay Special I'm running right now is a piece of crap and needs to be replaced. I need something that isn't TOO loud, but will flow good and sound good. Looking to spend between $500 and $700. I was hoping you guys would know the best one to get, and where to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

^how about you do some searching or make your own thread
I have greddy evo 2 on my k24 and it sounds fuckin awesome. sounds like it has a little growl to it and doesnt get raspy in upper rpms. I am running a race header and no cat though.

in reference to the sp2 and skunk2...sp2 is prolly one of the quietest exhausts for the k series and the skunk2 is obnoxiously loud

IMO - Mike, just keep the exhaust you have, I do not have any idea why people dump so much money into pointless brand name stuff that doesn't serve a real purpose, plus the one you have sound and works great. Just my opinion, I think you should use the $700 you have to spend on welding up the hole, and maybe some bottom end work, swap, or anything that could help the performance of your car. But thats just me, I usually focus on performance because the cosmetics can all be done later. See Pablo at the meet if you have to get a new exhaust, he has a pretty nice one on his ep3.

The real problem with the exhaust I have now is that it never fit right, but I guess that's the curse of any aftermarket exhaust. I was planning on getting something with a little bigger diameter, the one I have now is 2.5", was looking into a 2.75" or 3". I'll see what the guys can do when the DP gets fixed, and a test pipe might change my mind as well. I like Pablos exhaust, I will talk him about that.

My brother has a turboed ep and he's running a custom 3" exhaust with no cat and it sounds perfect. I suggest you do the same. He's running a magniflow resonator and the apexi ws2 turbo muffler. It's not loud at all and is quiet inside the car too. Any good fab shop can make your exhaust for around your price range.

3.0" FTW! Build your own! What downpipe do you have?
