hey i got a '92 sedan, bone stock, automatic DD.
but it's having a problem.

after sitting for over an hour and a half it wont start.
it's not that hot outside.

i hold the key cranked over for like 20-30 seconds and it'll start, it's like there's a build up in the cylinders or something 'cause if i hold it WOT while cranking it's "pops" out the intake.

timing is dead on, battery and alternator are perfect. new plugs i'm stumped.

any help would be much appreciated!
thanks

if its poping out of the intake it sounds like a bent intake valve, do a leak down test. or compression test.

compression is perfect, i pulled the head and inspected the valves, they all shut just fine.

just by inspecting the valves may not give you clear indication that a valve is bent even the slightest. also, if you turn your ignition on with out cranking, giving your fuel pump sufficient time to charge the lines with fuel, then crank it, does it turn over right away, or still having the issue of delayed start?
