View Full Version : Installing MSD igition modle 6200 on my b16 Si

Well I got this MSD 6a model 6200 I was wondering if any body can tell me If its good or not to put it in my car I heard some rumors but maybe some body can tell me how I can make this work and any pointers ya ll can give me don't have any installation instructions I know I can get it off the web site but just want some advice from some one that actually as installed it before. Thanks

your stock ignition is fine so don't use it imo. maybe save it if you go turbo. just upgrade your wires and get fresh plugs

sell it on ebay.
someone told me what msd meant (and i don't mean multiple spark discharge), but i can't remember it.
basically, it's just trouble. the stock dizzy is good to 20 psi if it's in perfect working order.
i've tried every company in town and the distributors bap sells seem to work the best and hold up the best.
ngk blue wires are also all you need.
