anybody know where to find instrustions on how to adjust a external wastegate and BOV valve. First time boosting not sure how to do this.

Do all external wastegate valves hook up the same? example boost line at the bottom of the wastegate.

Your Bov should have a bolt on the top to Tighten or loosen which makes it harder or softer.
And to adjust your wastegate you have to change the Spring. Or hook up a boost controoler (which you have by your pictures) to act a stopper before the vaccum pressure exceeds it then It goes to the Wastegate opening that.

you have it right. boost source into controller, out to bottom side of w/g. leave top open to atmosphere.
what bov do you have? most have no adjustment now and just need another line from the manifold. but there is a lot of variety on bov so that's why i ask.

Bottom port of the wastegate gets a boost source. Manual boost controllers usually get plumbed into the line going to bottom of the wastegate. Electronic boost controllers usually have a solenoid which will gets plumbed to the top and bottom wastegate lines. The BOV usually just has one vacuum line that goes to a vacuum/boost source.

use the bottom/side port of the wastegate. take all that shit off the vac line going to your boost controller for gods sakes. leave the top port on the wastegate open. dont listen to jdm frankie hes been using turbonetics crap for too long apparently.

boost line on the wastegate doesnt really matter where it comes from, boost port line on bov has to be AFTER the throttle body.
